I'm a 32 year old GWM who is interested in wearing, and playing in, rubber and latex clothing. I'm not strictly limited to rubber, however. Give me some good sports gear (hockey, football, etc.) or any sort of fully enclosing industrial gear and I'm happy.
If you have a gear fetish, like I do, than you will no doubt know what I'm talking about when I say that I've always been interested in anything that can totally enclose and bind me. When I was a kid, I can remember looking at pictures of things like motorcycle racers, scuba divers, hockey players and firefighters and thinking that I would really enjoy wearing that type of clothing. When I got a bit older and started to think about sex, I realized that I would REALLY like to wear that type of clothing.
One interesting thing about me is that I like to have a full working knowledge of the gear that I'm playing with. To that end, I learned to, and still, ride a motorcycle, trained to be a firefighter (went to an academy and everything) and learned how to play ice hockey (still do BTW). The one glaring exception is that I still haven't been formally trained in scuba diving, although I have used scuba gear in pools before. This will be corrected soon. For now, however, I will just have to be content wearing the gear.
While that explains the Rubber part of my name, the Geek part comes from the fact that I work as a software consultant in Silicon Valley. I moved here back in '92 and have really grown a lot since then. Apart from being a good career move, it also allowed me more easily come out as not only gay, but having a gear fetish as well. Growing up in the Bible Belt like I did, neither of these was generally accepted.
Since you've gotten this far, I would assume that you have at least a cursory interest in playing in gear. Should you want to get together and play together sometime, drop me a line. Or even if you're just starting out and might like to experiment together, I would be glad to talk with you about it. I always enjoy meeting (and meating ;-) ) new people.
